Where are these equal rights
That to all are guaranteed
And why must gays and blacks and women
Still fight for simply these

We're all human

Not just color

And sex is an art
To be explored

Why must equality
Still have to fight
Where did it go
Our guaranteed right
And because you're afraid
Or hateful or scared
You don't have the right
To judge me by where

I decide to sleep
Eat and live
The places I go
Or the gifts I give
And I will not let you
Judge others by face
Their color of skin
Or natural race

And you may not
Bash cause they're gay
As long as I can
I'll stand in your way
And I think you will learn
The power we hold
For when we unite
You won't be so bold

And those equal rights
We've been guaranteed
Will finally apply
